Software Engineer (Back-End / Full-Stack)

We are looking for a Software Engineer (Back-End / Full-Stack) to join a new team working on an internal product for a European company in the drone industry.

The team is building a new program designed to support and optimize manufacturing management across production sites. This role is a great fit for an engineer who enjoys working on practical, business-critical systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and using modern development approaches, including AI-assisted coding tools.

The backend preference is Python, while the frontend part is focused on JavaScript. At the same time, the programming language itself is less important than strong hands-on engineering skills and real experience building production systems. Rust experience would be considered a plus.

Responsibilities
- Develop and improve backend or full-stack solutions for a manufacturing management platform
- Build reliable, scalable, and maintainable application components for internal business use
- Work on backend services, business logic, and system integrations
- Contribute to frontend development where relevant using JavaScript
- Collaborate with internal cross-departmental teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
- Use AI coding tools in practice to improve development workflows and delivery speed
- Participate in technical discussions, solution design, and implementation decisions
- Help ensure code quality, readability, and maintainability across the product

Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial software development experience
- Strong hands-on engineering experience building real production systems
- Good backend development skills, preferably with Python
- Experience with JavaScript on the frontend side
- Practical experience using AI coding tools in software development
- Ability to communicate effectively with different internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Good understanding of software design, maintainable code, and delivery in a product-oriented environment

Must be based in EU
Must be an EU citizen

Nice to Have
- Experience with Rust
- Experience working on internal business systems, operational platforms, or manufacturing-related tools
- Full-stack experience across both backend and frontend
- Experience in fast-moving product environments
