What you will do

• Build and maintain scalable backend services using Python (Flask/FastAPI) processing data from 300,000+ IoT devices.
• Design and develop REST APIs consumed by internal tools and customer-facing applications.
• Develop and refine React/TypeScript frontend features, translating designs into functional code.
• Analyze system health and debug production issues using database queries and diagnostic tools.
• Collaborate with product teams to shape user experience and align backend capabilities with UI needs.
• Maintain code quality through refactoring, expanding test coverage, and participating in weekly releases.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python (FastAPI, Flask) and React/TypeScript.
• Solid experience with REST API design, microservices, and relational databases (MySQL).
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and unit/integration testing.
• Fluent in Polish and advanced English skills (written & spoken).
• Must be based in Poland; flexibility to adjust working hours for a global, time zone-diverse team.

Nice to have

• Experience with GCP, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, or Helm charts.
• Knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus, MUI, or Tailwind.
• Experience with Node.js, Bash scripts, computer vision, or IoT data pipelines.
