What you will do

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans, focusing on web services and API-level testing.
• Debug complex, multi-layered issues across application, database, and integration layers.
• Collaborate with engineers and product owners to improve test coverage and quality standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and act as a quality resource across the organization.
• Utilize AI tools (Claude, Glean) to accelerate test planning and root cause analysis.
• Review product documentation and release notes for new versions.

Requirements

• 5-10+ years of Software QA experience, ideally in FinTech.
• Strong expertise in REST API testing and diagnosis.
• Proficiency with MS SQL Server for data retrieval and validation.
• Experience with Jira, Zephyr, Bitbucket, GitHub, Jenkins, and Docker.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Boston, MA.
• Valid US work authorization is required (no sponsorship).

Nice to have

• Experience in an AI-first environment using tools like Claude Code.
• Knowledge of financial protocols (FIX, Reuters, Bloomberg, Morningstar).
• Scripting skills in Python.
• Performance testing experience with Locust.io.
• Experience with Dynatrace or similar APM/monitoring tools.
