Lead AI/Agent Architect (AI): Designing and building an AI agent system to manage complex transaction workflows for large enterprise clients with an accent on agent orchestration and human-in-the-loop protocols. Focus on creating a secure, auditable, and extensible architecture that transforms document-heavy operations into automated agentic workflows.

What you will do
- Design the agent orchestration model and deal state machine to route work between specialist agents.
- Develop a typed tool layer for financial analytics, clause extraction, and document assembly.
- Define human-in-the-loop protocols and mandatory approval gates for legal and financial actions.
- Establish a secure sandbox environment with strict data governance, PII handling, and zero-retention policies.
- Validate the technical feasibility of automation hypotheses and translate findings into architecture.
- Lead and direct AI/ML engineers through the build phases of the system.
Requirements
- 8+ years in software engineering, AI/ML, or solutions architecture with a track record of shipping production systems.
- Deep experience with agent orchestration, tool and function calling, and state management.
- Expert proficiency in Python, API and connector design, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience designing guardrails, auditability, and traceability for high-stakes, document-heavy domains.
- Practical experience moving systems from sandbox/prototype to production.
- Domain knowledge in commercial real estate, legal, or financial services is highly preferred.
