TL;DR
Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure/Kubernetes): Evolving and modernizing a global SaaS infrastructure with an accent on Azure Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) migration and Kubernetes re-architecture. Focus on eliminating toil through self-healing automation, consolidating observability platforms, and provisioning cloud AI infrastructure.
Location: Minimum 3 days per week at the Delft head office (Netherlands)
Salary: € 6,000 - 7,000 per month

What you will do
- Migrate workloads into Azure CAF landing zones using reusable Terraform modules and FinOps tagging.
- Re-architect Kubernetes topology to improve scalability, resource efficiency, and operational flexibility.
- Identify and engineer out toil to build self-healing automation and a reliability roadmap.
- Standardize monitoring and observability deployments across global datacenters to reduce alert-to-incident ratios.
- Provision and maintain infrastructure across 7+ global datacenters using IaC pipelines.
- Build and operate the cloud AI infrastructure required for new product capabilities.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience as a Cloud or Infrastructure Engineer in a production environment.
- Deep Terraform expertise, including writing modules and managing state.
- Kubernetes expertise at the operator level (Helm, RBAC, Ingress, persistent volumes).
- Strong Linux system administration skills and experience with Puppet or Ansible.
- Experience with Azure Cloud Adoption Framework or enterprise landing zone structures.
- Must be based in or able to work from Delft, Netherlands (minimum 3 days per week).
Nice to have
- Familiarity with observability tooling at scale, such as Grafana, Prometheus, or VictoriaMetrics.
