hirify.global is building a cloud-hosted version of DuckDB to unify local development with cloud operations for data practitioners.

What you will do

• Own and evolve the Kubernetes platform, including cluster architecture, upgrades, multi-tenancy, and workload isolation.
• Build and maintain infrastructure components using Go and Python across compute, networking, and storage.
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines to ensure safe and fast software delivery.
• Implement observability tooling and dashboards using Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry to improve system health and oncall effectiveness.
• Automate K8s operational workflows to reduce manual intervention and increase consistency.
• Collaborate with product and backend teams to embed operational best practices into development.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes clusters in production.
• Experience with cloud-native infrastructure, including AWS, Terraform, and service meshes.
• Strong programming skills in Go and/or Python for designing secure and scalable systems.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
• Must be based in the Amsterdam office.
