What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ASP.NET Core applications and REST APIs across a layered architecture.
• Lead architecture discussions and contribute to decisions on scalability, performance, and system design.
• Build and maintain background jobs with Hangfire and integrations with Stripe, Twilio, SendGrid, and Azure services.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production and development environments.
• Participate in Agile development and evaluate emerging technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with C# and .NET (Core / .NET 5+).
• Must be based in the United States.
• Strong proficiency in SQL Server, including complex queries, schema design, and performance tuning.
• Deep understanding of RESTful API design, layered architecture patterns, and ORM frameworks (NHibernate, EF Core).
• Ability to work across the stack: backend services, Razor/MVC views, and JavaScript (jQuery/Bootstrap).
• Experience with Azure services such as Blob Storage, Key Vault, and SignalR.

Nice to have

• Experience with authentication patterns (JWT, cookie auth, SAML2, OpenID Connect).
• Mobile app development experience.
