Senior Software Engineer (Golang)

Location: Remote from Poland only

What you will do

• Design, build, maintain, and optimize applications using Golang.
• Support component design and uphold technical quality standards across projects.
• Design and implement data storage solutions for secure, scalable applications.
• Define structured practices for source code management, building, and deployment.
• Analyze client requirements, gather user and client feedback, and translate needs into solutions.
• Collaborate with client teams and Technical Leaders to execute projects and deliver on time.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of commercial software engineering experience at a senior level.
• Deep knowledge of Golang and experience delivering real-world software solutions.
• Experience with Git, databases, cloud environments, automation, CI/CD, and testing at unit, integration, and end-to-end levels.
• Experience with pull requests, code reviews, and agile development.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Professional proficiency in English and the ability to work remotely from Poland.

Nice to have

• Experience with Next.js.
• Experience with Python and AI/ML libraries.
• Financial services experience.
• Knowledge of data science techniques, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.

Hiring process

• 30-minute introductory Talent Call via Zoom.
• One-hour live technical assessment via Zoom involving a coding challenge and Python demonstration.
• 45-minute Hiring Manager Interview, with an additional client interview possible depending on the project.
