Senior Back-end Engineer (Go)

Location: Remote within Europe, Albania, Poland, Romania, or Ukraine

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable distributed back-end solutions for a high-scale SaaS platform.
• Develop and maintain microservices and cloud-native applications using serverless and container-based deployments.
• Contribute to architecture evolution, infrastructure decisions, and technical strategy.
• Build and support large-scale software delivery pipelines and deployment processes.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize service performance.
• Improve the reliability, scalability, observability, and maintainability of distributed systems using AI-assisted development practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 1 year of extensive AI SDLC experience.
• Strong back-end development experience in at least two languages, with Golang as the primary language and Kotlin or other JVM-based languages as alternatives.
• Strong experience with a major cloud provider such as GCP, AWS, or Azure, including serverless and container-based deployments.
• Experience with microservices, distributed systems, high-scale stream and batch processing, data stores, Elasticsearch, BigQuery, and messaging or streaming systems such as Kafka, Flink, Spark, Pub/Sub, or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with production monitoring, performance optimization, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
• At least Upper-Intermediate English is required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ClickHouse.
• Full Stack or front-end development experience.
• Experience with accessibility products, compliance-focused systems, or AI-enabled SaaS platforms.
