Internship Data Management (Data Governance): Establishing and growing a community of Data Stewards to improve data protection and usage within a large international bank with an accent on data governance and stakeholder engagement. Focus on creating awareness of Data Steward roles, analyzing dashboards for actionable insights, and ensuring compliance with regulations like GDPR and BCBS239.

Location: Hybrid (Amsterdam). Mandatory to be enrolled at a Dutch university (or EU-university for EU passport holders).

Salary: 700 EUR allowance (based on 36h work week)

What you will do

• Set up, organize, and grow a collaborative community for Data Stewards.
• Increase organizational awareness regarding Data Steward roles and responsibilities.
• Extract and share actionable insights from existing data dashboards within the community.
• Train and support Data Stewards in the effective use of analytics tools.
• Design and execute a strategic plan to improve the expertise of Data Stewards in the Netherlands.

Requirements

• Current student (HBO/WO) in Business Administration, Economics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Communication, Law (privacy/data), or related fields.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Genuine interest in data governance and organizational information management.
• Must be enrolled at a Dutch university (or EU-university for EU passport holders).
