Remote Accountant / Accounting Specialist

What you will do

• Record financial transactions in QuickBooks Online.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, journal entries, and bank statements.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Review monthly financials and performance metrics to improve cash flow and business efficiency.
• Compare annual budgets and cash flow forecasts against actual results.
• Prepare and submit annual and quarterly taxes to city, county, state, and federal authorities.

Requirements

• Competency preparing local, state, and federal taxes for a small company.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong quantitative, analytical, and writing skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
