Legal & Compliance Specialist (SaaS)

What you will do

• Coordinate SOC 2 and ISO 27001 audit activities with internal teams, DevOps, and external auditors.
• Gather and review audit evidence, align technical controls with compliance requirements, and identify compliance gaps and business risks.
• Support investor due diligence, funding rounds, M&A activities, data-room organization, and stakeholder coordination.
• Maintain the compliance calendar, track recurring obligations, and drive cross-functional follow-ups to completion.
• Review and redline customer MSAs, framework agreements, vendor agreements, and amendments against standard SaaS contract positions.
• Draft NDAs, DPAs, MSAs, order forms, amendments, negotiation talking points, and structured contractual risk analyses.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Laws degree.
• At least 3 years of experience in a corporate law firm or in-house legal or compliance role, ideally in technology or SaaS.
• Professional written and spoken English is mandatory for documentation involving international customers, auditors, and investors.
• Experience with commercial agreements such as NDAs, DPAs, and MSAs.
• Understanding of GDPR, US privacy laws, SOC 2, or ISO 27001 compliance frameworks.
• Strong organization, ownership, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with IT infrastructure concepts.
• Knowledge of emerging AI legislation, including the EU AI Act or NIST AI RMF.
