Automation & Robotics Intern

Location: Onsite in Wuxi, China. Travel: None.

What you will do

• Support the development and evaluation of robotics, AI, and vision-based solutions.
• Validate algorithms and logic for perception, motion planning, and task execution.
• Collect and analyze data and support model validation for robotics applications.
• Identify automation scenarios, assess feasibility, and support robot deployment on the manufacturing shopfloor.
• Test, debug, integrate, and troubleshoot robots and automation systems during pilot projects.
• Track project progress and support end-to-end implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's student in Robotics, Automation, AI, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering.
• Programming skills in Python and C++, with experience using ROS and OpenCV.
• Basic knowledge of robotics fundamentals, including kinematics, control, and sensors.
• Hands-on experience with robotics or automation projects and familiarity with debugging, testing, and integration processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills, a hands-on attitude, and the ability to work in cross-functional teams and a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI, computer vision, or simulation.
• Experience with PLCs or industrial systems.
