TL;DR
Software Intern (C/Python, HDD Firmware): Developing HDD SelfTest firmware and platforms while improving test-process performance, product yield, test time, and quality with an accent on embedded software architecture, troubleshooting, and data analysis. Focus on designing and debugging firmware, analyzing factory issues, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.

Location: Onsite in Wuxi, China

What you will do

  • Develop HDD firmware and the SelfTest platform using C and Python.
  • Improve the performance of the HDD SelfTest process.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues with data center and factory teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product yield, test time, and quality performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in science or engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of embedded firmware and software architecture.
  • Programming experience with C and Python.
  • Experience with troubleshooting, analysis, design, and debugging.
  • Data analysis and processing skills, with knowledge of storage systems.
  • Fluent English and effective verbal and written communication skills.
