Application Support Analyst (Fintech)

TL;DR

Application Support Analyst (Fintech): Providing 24/5 client services and technical support for the hirify.global Trade Surveillance product with an accent on troubleshooting, incident management, and user access control. Focus on investigating application defects, managing client communications, and collaborating with global technology teams to ensure system reliability.

Location: Must be based in Taguig, Philippines (Hybrid: at least 2 days per week in office).

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day application support for the Trade Surveillance client base.
• Manage and resolve operational or user-reported issues and bugs.
• Perform user access management and process configuration changes.
• Triage and escalate complex issues to senior technology teams.
• Update knowledge base systems with accurate troubleshooting guidelines.
• Conduct smoke testing for application releases and manage client notifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in technical support or operations.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and MS Office.
• Basic file handling and searching skills in Linux environments.
• Understanding of service level metrics and critical thinking abilities.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in a similar product support or helpdesk role.
• Understanding of financial markets and trading concepts.
• Relevant technical certifications.
