Senior UI Engineer

What you will do

• Architect and own the CEM design system: component library, token architecture, theming, accessibility standards, and component API conventions.
• Implement and maintain the end-to-end design token pipeline from Figma token authoring (Tokens Studio) through Style Dictionary to front-end theme consumption.
• Build, publish, and version the component library with semantic versioning, changelog governance, and distribution for multiple engineering teams.
• Own Storybook as the design-development contract and integrate token/Figma addons plus CI/CD and visual regression checks.
• Architect AI-assisted development workflows (Storybook MCP integration, governance gates, lint/accessibility checks, and component validation) so AI-generated UI adheres to the design system.
• Lead front-end implementation for complex features and act as the front-end technical authority in product squads, including code quality standards and PR review criteria.

Requirements

• 5+ years of front-end engineering experience in enterprise SaaS product organizations.
• Production experience with both Angular and React, including component architecture, state management, and performance optimization.
• Proven experience owning a production design system (component library publishing, design token pipeline management, Storybook ownership, and engineering governance).
• Hands-on experience with Tokens Studio and Style Dictionary, including token schema design and multi-brand token architecture.
• Expert Storybook proficiency (addon configuration, story authoring, MDX, Chromatic integration, and CI/CD deployment).
