What you will do

• Build clean, scalable, and maintainable frontend applications using Typescript and Angular.
• Lead the development and delivery of small to medium-sized software projects from planning to release.
• Drive frontend architecture and design decisions to improve scalability, performance, and developer experience.
• Mentor engineers through pair programming and set high standards for engineering quality.
• Develop technical roadmaps and collaborate cross-functionally with Product, QA, and Actuarial teams.
• Build and maintain shared reusable UI component libraries.

Requirements

• Track record of shipping software projects in a production environment.
• Proficiency in Javascript/Typescript, HTML, and CSS/SCSS.
• Experience with Angular 2+, API integrations, and state management (NgRx or Redux).
• Experience building reusable Web Components and knowledge of BEM/OOCSS principles.
• Must be able to live and work full-time in one of the listed 40 US states or Ontario, Canada.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with strong ownership and leadership skills.

• Experience with Ruby on Rails.
