Data Science Lead (LLM/NLP): Defining and governing data science practices for Neo’s group-wide AI platform with an accent on experimentation frameworks, model evaluation, and reliable AI behaviour. Focus on evaluating prompts and LLMs, improving retrieval augmented systems, and preparing models for enterprise-grade production integration.

What you will do
- Lead data science activities across multiple Neo platform streams.
- Define experimentation frameworks, test protocols, evaluation strategies, and model quality standards.
- Establish practices for prompt evaluation, feasibility assessment, and iterative model improvement.
- Oversee how AI models interact with Neo’s knowledge base to maintain accuracy, relevance, and controlled behaviour.
- Guide Data Scientists in refining models based on feature requirements and platform constraints.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, architecture, and knowledge teams to prepare models for production integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Data Science.
- Strong experience with NLP, retrieval augmented systems, LLMs, or applied AI solutions.
- Experience leading Data Science teams and defining experimentation and evaluation frameworks.
- Knowledge of LLMs, embeddings, vector search, and model evaluation techniques.
- Hands-on experience with Python, notebooks, and AI experimentation tooling.
