What you will do

• Prepare and maintain forecasts, scenario analyses, and performance tracking for upcoming and released titles.
• Build and maintain Excel-based models, reports, and dashboards with high accuracy.
• Analyze sales, pricing, promotional, and market data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Research competitors, comparable titles, and genre trends to support forecasting assumptions.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and analytics stakeholders to communicate findings.
• Validate data inputs and ensure analytical work is well-structured and reliable.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and solve problems in a structured way.
• Confidence working with Excel, data sets, models, and quantitative analysis.
• Mathematical proficiency, including statistics, modeling, and probability.
• Strong interest in and understanding of the console and PC games market.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks to deadline.
• Clear communication skills for explaining findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python for data analysis or modeling.
• Experience using SQL to query and manipulate structured data.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Japanese language skills (Native or JLPT N1).
