What you will do

• Design, develop, and debug software tools and methodologies for process design and manufacturing.
• Collaborate with process developers and design rule owners to implement optimal technology specifications.
• Automate workflows to improve efficiency and deployment accuracy across teams.
• Build and execute test cases to validate software tools and ensure integration with design methodologies.
• Coordinate tool feature requirements with internal partners and external EDA vendors.
• Analyze performance contributors for technology features and solve complex physical design problems.

Requirements

• Master's degree in EE, Computer Engineering, or STEM with 8+ years of experience, OR Ph.D. with 5+ years.
• 3+ years of experience with scripting languages (Python, Tcl, Perl) in Unix/Linux environments.
• 3+ years of experience with EDA tools like Calibre, ICV, or Pegasus, including rule deck development.
• 5+ years of experience in semiconductor device physics, process technology, and design rules.
• Must be based in the US and eligible for hybrid work at assigned hirify.global sites.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with physical verification (DRC, LVS, density/fill modules).
• Experience with layout and schematic tools such as Cadence Virtuoso or Synopsys Custom Designer.
• Proven leadership in driving process improvements or innovation initiatives.
