What you will do

• Coordinate and supervise Landscape Technologists, laborers, and apprentices on construction and maintenance projects.
• Perform specialized groundskeeping tasks including pruning, propagation, and pesticide application.
• Estimate materials, equipment, and manpower for assigned tasks and maintain records.
• Evaluate plant health, soil fertility, and general campus landscape conditions.
• Operate and demonstrate power equipment, trucks, and specialty machinery safely.
• Design and maintain landscape drainage and irrigation systems.

Requirements

• BC Landscape Horticulture Red Seal certification
• BC Pesticide Applicator’s Certificate
• Class 5 BC driver’s license
• 5 years of related experience in Landscape Horticulture, grounds maintenance, or a comparable field.
• Must be based in Vancouver to work on the hirify.global campus

Nice to have

• Arborist Qualification (ISA, Skilled Trades BC).
• Experience with commercial irrigation systems.
• Proven experience in supervision and leadership.
