Salary: $5,526.42 - $7,941.25 CAD Monthly

What you will do
- Enhance and maintain EMR data systems, focusing on extraction logic and backend repository architecture to ensure data integrity and standardization.
- Manage semi-annual EMR data extraction operations and maintain comprehensive ETL documentation and procedural resources.
- Apply machine learning techniques to optimize data quality and conduct automated testing to detect anomalies.
- Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain a shared codebase and scripts for data integration and repository management.
- Provide technical systems support for secure research environments, implementing code enhancements and responding to server requests.
- Collaborate with other programmers on application design and execute user acceptance testing to maintain business functionality.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to work onsite at the Vancouver Campus in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
- Proficiency with SQLite, MS SQL Server, and Postgres.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience in primary care medical settings or medical research environments.
- Proficiency with Go.
- Experience applying ML techniques to text data classification.
- Knowledge of health information regulations, research ethics, and provincial privacy laws.
