What you will do

• Process new referrals by collecting patient demographics, insurance information, and consents.
• Perform data entry and upload all required documentation into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Manage triage pages, phone calls, and emails, ensuring timely responses.
• Coordinate the scheduling of medical appointments for patients.
• Verify patient insurance and present medical information to prove medical necessity.
• Relay urgent information and requests to the appropriate care teams.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Chapel Hill, NC.
• High School Degree required (Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred).
• Knowledge of medical terminology and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of medical, financial, and legal information.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
