DevOps Engineer (Fintech)

Salary: $104,000 - $148,000

What you will do

• Deploy and operate applications on Kubernetes-based platforms using Helm and Terraform.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and GitOps workflows with ArgoCD.
• Monitor system health and reliability using Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
• Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) to reduce manual effort.
• Perform incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis in an on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (or similar), Terraform, and GitLab.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and GitOps tools like ArgoCD.
• Strong foundation in networking and system operations.
• Must be based in Toronto, Canada for a hybrid work arrangement (3+ days/week in-office).

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services or fintech regulated environments.
• Familiarity with Docker and the Kubernetes ecosystem.
• Knowledge of SRE principles and operational best practices.
