Senior Identity And Access Management Engineer (Saviynt)

Senior Identity and Access Management Engineer (Saviynt): Strengthening and scaling enterprise Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) capabilities with an accent on Saviynt platform operations and automation. Focus on designing API-based integrations, managing the identity lifecycle, and implementing complex access control models to enhance security posture.

Location: Must be based in the USA. This is a remote position, but requires occasional onsite presence in Chattanooga, TN (approx. once per quarter) and an on-site final interview.

What you will do

• Engineer and implement security solutions focused on IGA, SSO, MFA, and provisioning/deprovisioning.
• Design and implement integrations for user lifecycle management using APIs, SCIM, and connectors.
• Drive automation and orchestration to improve identity workflows and reduce system errors.
• Manage access control designs, including RBAC, ABAC, and privileged access management.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to resolve high-priority security issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation for identity environments and security configurations.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA (no sponsorship available).
• 5+ years of experience in Information Security or IT.
• Deep hands-on experience with Saviynt and IGA principles.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, VBScript, Perl, Batch).
• Strong understanding of APIs, databases, and directory services (Active Directory, LDAP).
• Experience with identity federation (SAML, OAuth, OIDC) and cloud IAM platforms.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISA, CRISC, or SANS certification.
• Experience with Entra ID, AWS IAM, or Google Cloud IAM.
• Knowledge of JSON/XML and SQL query development.
• Experience leveraging AI to optimize identity workflows.
