What you will do

• Operate heavy equipment including backhoes, garbage trucks, and roll-off container trucks for excavation and transport.
• Perform hard landscape maintenance on roads and sidewalks and provide project trades support.
• Conduct regulatory asset inspections and condition assessments using specialized hardware and software.
• Maintain accurate logs and monitor data integrity for billing and reporting purposes.
• Provide guidance and training to labourers and crew members to ensure safe work practices.
• Perform minor construction tasks including repairs, removals, and installations as required.

Requirements

• High school graduation required.
• Valid Class 3 driver’s license or Class 5 with air brake ticket required.
• Minimum two years of related experience in heavy equipment operation or roadwork maintenance.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain certifications for confined space entry, lockouts, and traffic control.
