What you will do

• Produce and read news bulletins for Breakfast and Morning radio output.
• Write and edit news summaries with accuracy and flair under tight deadlines.
• Source and develop stories that resonate with local audiences in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
• Collaborate with presenters, reporters, and digital teams to ensure multi-platform impact.
• Ensure all content adheres to editorial and legal standards.

Requirements

• Significant recent experience of reading live radio bulletins.
• First-class writing, production, and organizational skills.
• Strong knowledge of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
• Understanding of media law and ethics.
• Ability to work under pressure in a live broadcast environment.

Nice to have

• Experience telling stories across social media platforms.
• Video editing skills.
• Familiarity with Optimo.
