What you will do

• Write news stories, insightful analysis, and conduct interviews on sustainability regulations and implementation.
• Appear on the Sustainable Views podcast and contribute to audio and visual content.
• Develop innovative social media posts to expand audience reach.
• Build and maintain a contacts book of sustainability investors and finance institutions.
• Attend key industry events to stay informed and network.
• Collaborate with the editorial team on editing and various production tasks.

Requirements

• At least five years of reporting experience in a fast-paced newsroom.
• Strong understanding of sustainable finance and market-based solutions to climate change.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality written copy and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Established contacts within sustainability investment and finance sectors.
• Must be based in London and able to work in a hybrid capacity (50% onsite).
• Excellent communication skills and flexibility regarding working hours.

Nice to have

• Degree or equivalent experience in journalism or data journalism.
• Knowledge of human rights, environmental legislation, and policymaking.
• Good numeracy skills and experience using AI tools like ChatGPT for data analysis.
