What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solutionize and deliver high-impact product features.
• Produce well-architected, efficient, and scalable code using industry-leading design patterns.
• Lead code reviews and pair programming sessions to mentor colleagues and ensure code excellence.
• Create detailed technical documentation and diagrams for new feature developments.
• Drive the implementation of advanced testing strategies to ensure high reliability and coverage.
• Participate in and lead team-based learning initiatives, including tech-talks and workshops.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK as the company is unable to provide visa sponsorship.
• Extensive experience with Object-Oriented programming and PHP.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles including SOLID and DRY.
• Expertise in relational database technologies and API design within service-oriented environments.
• Proven leadership experience through collaboration and mentorship.
• Good written and spoken English for effective communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise-scale systems and cloud computing.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with TDD, DDD, and clean code practices.
