What you will do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solutionize and deliver high-impact product features.
- Produce well-architected, efficient, and scalable code using industry-leading design patterns.
- Lead code reviews and pair programming sessions to mentor colleagues and ensure code excellence.
- Create detailed technical documentation and diagrams for new feature developments.
- Drive the implementation of advanced testing strategies to ensure high reliability and coverage.
- Participate in and lead team-based learning initiatives, including tech-talks and workshops.
Requirements
- Must be based in the UK as the company is unable to provide visa sponsorship.
- Extensive experience with Object-Oriented programming and PHP.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles including SOLID and DRY.
- Expertise in relational database technologies and API design within service-oriented environments.
- Proven leadership experience through collaboration and mentorship.
- Good written and spoken English for effective communication.
Nice to have
- Experience with enterprise-scale systems and cloud computing.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with TDD, DDD, and clean code practices.
