What you will do

• Define and evolve the Applied Science operating model across federated business domains.
• Establish shared approaches for model development, evaluation, experimentation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Partner with Data Platform and Engineering to shape the Applied Science platform roadmap and simplify platform requirements.
• Promote reusable frameworks and components (including feature stores) and drive MLOps best practices.
• Build and strengthen the Applied Science community through forums, technical review, mentorship, and consistent hiring/assessment practices.
• Contribute to hirify.global’s AI strategy by translating successful models and experiments into scalable enterprise capabilities, including GenAI-enabled ways of working.

Requirements

• Experience leading Applied Science, Machine Learning, or AI initiatives in large-scale consumer, retail, marketplace, or technology environments.
• Experience delivering production machine learning systems at scale.
• Experience working in federated or matrixed organizations.
• Experience developing technical standards, governance approaches, and operating models across multiple teams.
• Experience collaborating with platform and engineering teams on ML infrastructure and MLOps capabilities.
• Strong communication skills to build alignment across stakeholders and reporting structures.
