What you will do

• Manage retained lobbying firms and coordinate legislative strategy across multiple states.
• Monitor and report on state-level legislation, policy, and funding opportunities.
• Own state and local procurement strategy from identification to deal closure.
• Engage directly with agency leaders, executives, and school board members to build strategic access.
• Align legislative and procurement activities with regional sales teams to support active deals.
• Represent the company at state-level industry events and stakeholder meetings.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Proven experience in government affairs, lobbying, or public policy.
• Strong understanding of state and local procurement processes.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with high-level agency executives and advocacy groups.
• Excellent communication skills for representing the company at industry events.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams to drive business objectives.
