Technical Assurance Lead (AI)

Location: Must hold an active US Top Secret security clearance

What you will do

• Lead public sector compliance programs including FedRAMP, DoD SRG, and NIST frameworks.
• Oversee Security Risk Management A&A processes, including vulnerability management and STIG implementation.
• Partner with engineering, product, and legal teams to deploy technical and operational controls.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, 3PAOs, and regulatory counterparts.
• Maintain system security documentation and GRC tooling like eMASS or Xacta.
• Support customer assurance activities, including security questionnaires and compliance input for bids.

Requirements

• Active US Top Secret security clearance required.
• Minimum IAT Level 2 certification (Security+, CASP, or similar) required.
• 7+ years of experience in security compliance, technology audit, or GRC.
• Deep familiarity with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53/171, CMMC, or DoD Cloud Computing SRG.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and assessing architecture against compliance requirements.
• Strong ability to translate between business and technical risk for leadership communication.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, information systems, or computer science.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CCSP.
• Experience at a high-growth technology company.
