TL;DR

Investment Analyst (Fintech): Support the analysis, selection, and monitoring of a multi-billion portfolio focused on tech/media/design public equities and alternative assets with an accent on data-driven decision making and portfolio optimization. Focus on building performance, risk, and liquidity reports using SQL and Excel, and integrating AI tools to enhance analysis and productivity.

Location: On-site in São Paulo (3-4 days a week in Pinheiros)

What you will do

• Analyze, select, and monitor investments in public equities (NYSE/NASDAQ) and alternative assets like derivatives and options.
• Execute tactical operations of the fund, coordinating with legal, tech, and the investment committee.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive performance, risk, and liquidity control reports.
• Leverage AI tools to sharpen investment insights and automate daily workflows.

Requirements

• Location: Availability to work on-site 3-4 days a week in Pinheiros, São Paulo.
• Proven financial-market knowledge (e.g., investment competitions, leagues, or custom-built trading tools).
• Working proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel for reporting and analysis.
• English: Upper-intermediate to advanced level required.
• Strong analytical skills and a high level of ownership (high agency).

Nice to have

• 1+ year of experience in financial markets, particularly with US public equities.
• Background in banking, brokerages, or similar financial institutions.
• Experience with Python or other advanced data tools.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CFG, CGA, CPA-20, CEA, or CFA).
