Infrastructure Specialist (Mainframe): Managing and optimizing mission-critical mainframe infrastructure projects with an accent on system programming and strategic IT planning. Focus on integrating z/OS components, automating system processes, and solving complex technical issues across enterprise platforms.
Location: Roma, Italy (Hybrid)

What you will do
- Provide subject matter expertise for infrastructure projects, including analysis, documentation, and diagramming.
- Analyze technical issues, offer solutions, and perform testing, modification, and automation of systems.
- Develop long-range strategic plans for IT infrastructure and operational execution.
- Collaborate with Architects, Technicians, and Project Managers throughout the project lifespan.
- Identify technical and timeline risks early in the project phase to ensure successful delivery.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in Mainframe technology domains such as software development, cloud, systems engineering, or security.
- Hands-on experience in at least two of the following: z/OS, DB2 z/OS, CICS, RACF, VTAM, or Storage and Data Management.
- In-depth knowledge of z/OS Operating Systems.
- Experience driving engineering solutions and working across multi-functional teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Location: Must be based in or able to work in Roma, Italy (Hybrid)
Nice to have
- Over 10 years of experience in Mainframe architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
