What you will do

• Provide subject matter expertise for infrastructure projects, including analysis, documentation, and diagramming.
• Analyze technical issues, offer solutions, and perform testing, modification, and automation of systems.
• Develop long-range strategic plans for IT infrastructure and operational execution.
• Collaborate with Architects, Technicians, and Project Managers throughout the project lifespan.
• Identify technical and timeline risks early in the project phase to ensure successful delivery.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in Mainframe technology domains such as software development, cloud, systems engineering, or security.
• Hands-on experience in at least two of the following: z/OS, DB2 z/OS, CICS, RACF, VTAM, or Storage and Data Management.
• In-depth knowledge of z/OS Operating Systems.
• Experience driving engineering solutions and working across multi-functional teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work in Roma, Italy (Hybrid)

Nice to have

• Over 10 years of experience in Mainframe architecture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
