Software Engineer (Backend, .NET) (.NET/Azure): Designing and developing scalable backend solutions and cloud-native applications for an AI-powered vertical SaaS platform with an accent on .NET technologies, microservices, security, and high-performance data architecture. Focus on building resilient systems with Kubernetes and CI/CD, optimizing cloud application performance, and proactively resolving technical challenges that could cause production incidents.
Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid work system with flexible hours.

What you will do
- Design and implement complex backend solutions using .NET, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
- Develop scalable and reliable cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.
- Collaborate with engineers, technical leads, product managers, designers, and other cross-functional teams on requirements and architecture.
- Apply security, performance, reliability, and maintainability best practices.
- Write clean code, participate in code reviews, and continuously improve engineering practices.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges to prevent production incidents.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience with .NET technologies, including C# and ASP.NET.
- Experience architecting resilient systems with microservices, CI/CD pipelines, automated monitoring, and performance optimization.
- Advanced knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server and high-performance data architecture for cloud applications.
- Experience with Azure or another major cloud provider, such as AWS or Google Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, containerization, orchestration, Jenkins, and Git.
- Fluent English required.
