Senior Python Software Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Build software enabling large-scale quantitative research operations and the production of the firm's portfolio.
• Develop a powerful, scalable, and efficient platform to support the firm's next decade of growth.
• Design, code, test, and deploy firm-wide platforms and tooling in collaboration with researchers.
• Own and solve unique technical challenges inherent in high-performance financial systems.
• Implement advanced data structures, algorithms, and concurrency patterns.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience writing production-quality code in Python on Linux.
• Strong understanding and experience with Linux system programming fundamentals.
• Ability to develop large-scale, distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and high-performance application design.
• Proficiency in English.
• Must be located in or able to work from Ramat Gan, Israel.

Nice to have

• Experience with C++ or a strong willingness to learn it.
• Motivation or prior experience in machine learning, deep learning, and backtesting platform development.
• Experience developing systems for large-scale graph data computation.
• Knowledge of streaming or dataflow systems.
