TL;DR
Senior Application and Systems Engineer - Automotive UWB Radar (UWB/Radar): Developing reference solutions, proof-of-concepts, radar algorithms, simulations, and prototypes for automotive UWB use cases with an accent on signal processing, angle-of-arrival estimation, beamforming, and machine learning. Focus on validating next-generation radar systems, supporting product introductions, and solving complex customer and system-level challenges.

What you will do

  • Develop reference solutions and proof-of-concepts for automotive UWB radar use cases, including parking assistance, seat belt reminders, and occupant monitoring.
  • Design, implement, and validate radar algorithms, simulations, and prototypes for next-generation UWB applications.
  • Collaborate with system architects and product engineers on technical support and the definition of new automotive UWB use cases.
  • Work with Sales, Marketing, FAE, and Product Engineering teams to support product introductions and market adoption.
  • Build customer relationships, gather requirements, and identify opportunities in automotive and industrial UWB applications.
  • Prepare technical documentation, system-level support materials, and training content.

Requirements

  • Master’s or PhD degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong expertise in radar engineering, signal processing, and machine learning.
  • Proficiency in C, C++, Python, and MATLAB, with hands-on experience in RTOS systems and algorithm development.
  • Understanding of communication systems, modulation schemes, angle-of-arrival estimation, and beamforming.
  • Background in connectivity, RF, mmWave radar, UWB, or similar wireless technologies.
  • Fluent English, written and verbal, is required.

  • Knowledge of semiconductor and automotive markets.
