What you will do

• Investigate and resolve complex escalations by debugging Java and Spring Boot code and tracing REST APIs.
• Participate in a global "follow the sun" on-call rotation to handle high-priority production incidents.
• Implement agentic tooling, LLMs, and AI automation to streamline incident triage and log analysis.
• Monitor and debug application stability within a Kubernetes-orchestrated containerized environment.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and product teams to escalate bugs and implement permanent fixes.
• Identify trends in system failures and contribute to code refactoring to prevent recurrence.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of professional backend software engineering or highly technical application support experience.
• Solid, hands-on programming and debugging experience with Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Proven experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architectures, and Kubernetes clusters in production.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to out-of-hours emergencies.
• Strong aptitude for utilizing AI-driven tools (AI coding assistants, LLM-driven scripting) to optimize operational tasks.
