Parts Mechanical Engineer

Location: Hyvinkää, Finland; onsite at the headquarters

What you will do

• Design and engineer spare parts and update mechanical drawings, including order-related updates.
• Own selected spare-part offerings and support global business units.
• Provide technical support to product management, sourcing, quality, and other stakeholders.
• Validate supplier product quality requirements and support manufacturing-process validation.
• Perform equivalent and reverse engineering for spare-part needs.
• Develop new manufacturing methods, including 3D printing and CAM, together with R&D and manufacturing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, preferably mechanical engineering.
• Several years of proven, relevant mechanical-engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of machining, welding, and casting; hands-on manufacturing experience or crane-mechanics expertise.
• Experience with CAD software such as Siemens NX, Vertex CAD, or an equivalent tool.
• Fluent Finnish and English, both written and spoken, are mandatory.
• Logical thinking, self-direction, facilitation, collaboration, and communication skills in a multicultural environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with 3D design software.
• German-language skills.
