What you will do

• Design and build high-performance data platforms using Databricks and Apache Spark.
• Oversee the delivery of secure data warehouses and lakehouses with robust governance.
• Integrate AI/ML models into data pipelines to drive business insights.
• Monitor and optimize data infrastructure for efficiency and scalability.
• Lead Databricks partnership activities, including joint propositions and go-to-market plans.
• Support pre-sales by leading discovery workshops and producing technical proposals.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to obtain UK Security Check (SC) clearance (requires 5 years of continuous UK residency).
• 7+ years of experience as a Data Architect with deep Databricks expertise.
• Proven experience designing data platforms on major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong background in pre-sales, including solution shaping and estimation.
• Experience working within complex public sector environments.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills for multi-supplier delivery teams.
