What you will do

• Facilitate agile ceremonies and drive continuous improvement within cross-functional squads.
• Act as a technical translator between complex architectural constraints and business stakeholders.
• Own and prioritize the technical backlog, including infrastructure upgrades and refactoring.
• Ensure high-quality delivery of data pipelines and ML models through CI/CD and automated testing.
• Manage squad capacity and resolve impediments to ensure timely delivery of outcomes.
• Collaborate with product managers to align technical solutions with strategic business goals.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to Barangaroo, NSW, Australia.
• Extensive experience leading technical delivery using Agile methodologies in a commercial environment.
• Deep hands-on background in Data Engineering (Python, SQL, Spark) or Machine Learning Engineering.
• Strong working knowledge of modern cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and data architectures.
• Proven ability to manage SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder engagement and trade-off management.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Agile disciplines with multi-framework certification.
• Understanding of Generative AI, LLMOps, and advanced analytics infrastructure.
• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or supply chain sectors.
