Solutions Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Sydney, Australia; 3 days in the office per week. Implementation coverage spans APAC.

What you will do

• Deliver end-to-end Spend and corporate card implementations for enterprise and high-growth customers.
• Translate business requirements and solution designs into actionable implementation plans.
• Advise customers and internal teams on integration approaches, system configuration, and solution architecture.
• Design ERP, HRIS, accounting, API, and third-party connector integration blueprints.
• Coordinate Sales, Product, Operations, Risk, Engineering, partners, and external stakeholders from pre-sales through go-live and early adoption.
• Document implementation playbooks, troubleshoot integration challenges, and channel customer feedback into product roadmap decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in implementation, onboarding, customer success, or project/program management.
• 4+ years of client-facing delivery or professional services experience in SaaS, fintech, consulting, systems integration, or enterprise implementation.
• Proven experience delivering complex cross-functional projects involving technical teams, operations, and C-level stakeholders.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
• Experience implementing ERP, accounting, or expense platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Xero, including GL, cost centre, entity, and card-feed data flows.

Nice to have

• Experience with API-based integrations and web, SSO, ERP, solution architecture, or integration engineering concepts.
• Project management or agile certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master.
• Experience managing strategic or enterprise accounts within a broader account team.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-moving and ambiguous environments.
