Compensation: $346,000 – $444,000

What you will do

• Design and implement foundational Linux security features to protect large-scale AI/ML workloads.
• Develop advanced security capabilities for containerized environments, including runtime security and namespace isolation.
• Engineer kernel integrity monitoring solutions using IMA, EVM, and eBPF for real-time threat detection.
• Architect security for virtualized environments, including hypervisor hardening and secure VM provisioning.
• Implement isolation technologies such as hardware-based enclaves and micro-segmentation for multi-tenant environments.
• Perform system hardening and automate compliance through configuration management tools.

Requirements

• Must be based in San Francisco and able to work from the office 4 days per week.
• Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Senior Software or Systems Engineer.
• 1+ year of experience with Linux-based production systems, kernel internals, and security subsystems (SELinux, seccomp, eBPF).
• Proficiency in C, Rust, Python, and Go.
• Experience with secure virtualization (KVM, QEMU) and hardware-based enclaves (Intel SGX, AMD SEV).
