Platform Engineer (DevOps)

Location: Must be based in Mexico City (Hybrid office in Cuauhtémoc).

Compensation: $40/hour.

What you will do

• Administer and support core SDLC platforms including GitHub, JFrog Artifactory, Jira, and Confluence.
• Own platform configuration, access management, and governance to ensure security and compliance.
• Optimize tooling workflows and CI/CD pipelines to improve developer productivity.
• Provide operational support, troubleshoot issues, and participate in incident response.
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve platform scalability.
• Coordinate platform migrations and upgrades across internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE.
• Direct enterprise-level administrative experience with GitHub, Jira, or JFrog.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or TeamCity).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python or Bash.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong communication skills for working in globally distributed teams.

Nice to have

• Strong preference for Jira and Confluence administration experience.
• Experience partnering with vendors for issue resolution.
