What you will do
- Plan and optimize capacity for hybrid infrastructure across VMware and public cloud environments.
- Implement and maintain observability and monitoring solutions for infrastructure and applications.
- Develop automation for infrastructure provisioning and operational tasks using IaC.
- Support Kubernetes, containerized workloads, and cloud-native environments.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and troubleshoot complex infrastructure and performance issues.
- Analyze capacity trends and provide FinOps forecasting for cloud consumption.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering.
- Strong expertise with VMware vSphere (vCenter, ESXi, HA, DRS, vSAN).
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP in hybrid environments.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- English proficiency for technical documentation and communication.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day workflows.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or other highly regulated environments.
- Knowledge of Cloud FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
- Experience with VMware Aria Operations (vRealize Operations).
- Background in Disaster Recovery, Backup, and Business Continuity.
