DevOps Engineer (AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD & Cloud Infrastructure) – Remote | U.S. Hours

Location: Remote from Brazil, Argentina, Honduras, Mexico, or Colombia; U.S. client business hours with flexibility for deployments, incidents, and on-call rotations.

hirify.global is recruiting for a client seeking a DevOps Engineer to manage and improve cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and automation systems.

What you will do

• Provision and manage AWS, GCP, and Azure infrastructure using Terraform, Pulumi, and CloudFormation.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, and CircleCI.
• Manage Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters supporting microservices environments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, dashboards, incident response, and root cause analysis using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and New Relic.
• Apply cloud security practices including IAM, least-privilege access, encryption, vulnerability scanning, and proactive patching.
• Collaborate with developers to automate operational work, improve deployment speed, and document infrastructure and runbooks.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, monitoring systems, and deployment automation.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, system reliability, and production infrastructure.
• Availability to work U.S. client business hours and participate in deployment support, incident response, and on-call rotations.

Nice to have

• Strong Terraform or Pulumi expertise.
• Experience with SaaS, fintech, healthcare, or enterprise applications.
• Exposure to serverless architecture, AWS Lambda, or Cloud Functions.
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, or other cloud and Kubernetes certifications.
