What you will do

• Manage and grow a team of engineers focused on core gameplay systems and live game features.
• Coach engineers on technical craft, role effectiveness, and career development.
• Establish and maintain engineering standards for high-quality, scalable code.
• Partner with design, production, and technical leadership to define team direction.
• Balance new feature development, system improvements, and bug resolution.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a hands-on Software Engineer.
• 2+ years of experience leading an engineering team as an Engineering Manager or Technical Lead.
• 2+ years of experience developing in Unreal, Unity, or another game engine.
• Proficiency in C++ or similar languages.
• Experience working in complex game or engine codebases.
• Experience leading engineers on gameplay systems or gameplay-adjacent technology.

• Experience collaborating with designers on gameplay prototyping.
• Experience with console development.
• Experience with multiplayer game development.
• Experience supporting live game features in a live service environment.
