What you will do

• Own revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606, including performance obligations, SSP methodology, variable consideration, deferred revenue accounting, reconciliations, and period-end close.
• Serve as primary subject-matter expert for ASC 606 and ASC 340-40, partnering with Technical Accounting on complex arrangements, product launches, acquisitions, and non-standard deal structures.
• Own royalties accounting, including accrual methodology, partner reconciliations, and OEM/reseller settlements.
• Oversee contract review and billing operations: validate commercial terms, ensure proper system setup, and establish billing and revenue schedules.
• Manage contract amendments, renewals, and modifications to ensure correct accounting treatment and system accuracy across the contract-to-revenue lifecycle.
• Partner on quote-to-cash process improvements with Finance Transformation and Business Systems, including AI-enabled workflows and enhanced data quality and scalability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Deep expertise in ASC 606 and ASC 340-40.
• Significant SaaS revenue accounting experience (subscription and recurring revenue models).
• Experience leading accounting or revenue operations teams, including support for acquisitions and external audits.
