Global Indirect Tax Automation Senior Associate (ERP/Tax Tech): Implement and build third-party tax systems with major ERP and billing platforms with an accent on system integration, requirements gathering, and custom software development. Location: Hybrid (US). In-person attendance at least three days per week is required at a hirify.global office or client site.

Salary: $111,320 – $141,933

What you will do

• Implement third-party tax software such as Vertex, Avalara, Sovos, and Thomson Reuters, alongside custom solutions.
• Manage system integration projects involving major ERPs including SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, and JD Edwards.
• Conduct requirements analysis and design for indirect tax software implementations.
• Manage programming for custom system interfaces and modification of preexisting interfaces.
• Develop and deliver key project documentation, including requirements, design documents, and test plans.
• Participate in sales meetings, proposal development, and support system go-live projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience with SAP/Oracle functional and/or technical environments.
• 2 years of Oracle EBS/ERP Cloud/SAP ABAP design and development experience.
• Deep technical understanding of SAP/Oracle table structures and core Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay streams.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP Namespace development.
• Previous experience working in public accounting.
