What you will do

• Design and implement security architecture across EHR platforms and medical devices.
• Configure and manage security tools including firewalls, SIEM, DLP, MFA, and EDR.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.
• Monitor security systems and logs to proactively identify threats and unusual activity.
• Develop and maintain incident response plans and perform forensic analysis for security breaches.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA, HITECH, HITRUST, and SOC 2.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of cybersecurity engineering experience, ideally in healthcare or MSP environments.
• Hands-on experience with security technologies like firewalls, SIEM, DLP, and EDR.
• Experience securing cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance frameworks including HIPAA, HITECH, and HITRUST.
• Experience supporting or preparing for SOC 2 Type II audits.
• Proficiency in scripting tools such as Python or PowerShell.
